Community Development Worker (full time)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Wellbeing team of Peppercorn Services Inc. – the Hawkesbury’s own multi-service community services organisation.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative team player to create, coordinate and deliver community engagement and social participation activities for all ages, especially for socially isolated and frail aged people.

Operating out of the Hawkesbury Leisure and Learning Centre (HLLC) in the heart of Richmond, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, hiring and use of the HLLC and developing programs and activities for identified groups in the community.

A Criminal History Check will be conducted, with a clearance outcome required, prior to offer for employment.  The applicant must hold a valid Working with Children Check.

Casual Bus Driver

Peppercorn Community Transport is seeking a bus driver with a sound knowledge of the Hawkesbury Local Government Area.

This position requires a strong commitment to working with aged people and people with disabilities. It requires excellent driving skills and driving record and demonstrated experience in driving various sized buses.

Requirements for this position are:

  • Class LR Licence with Public Passenger Vehicle Driver Authority
  • Working with Children Check
  • Satisfactory driving record - RMS printout of history required

A Criminal History Check will be conducted, with a clearance outcome required, prior to offer for employment.  This is a Grade 4 position under the Passenger Vehicle Transport Award.

Play Support Worker

Casual Position located at South Windsor

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Children & Families Team of Peppercorn Services Inc – a multi-service community organisation.

Peppercorn’s Children & Families Team have a family centred, strengths based approach to improve children and family wellbeing.  Your responsibilities will include:

providing high quality child minding in a stimulating environment
supporting the Playgroup Facilitator’s in the delivery of our child-focussed programs
developing positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
