An early intervention community development service for families with young children, funded by Families NSW, an initiative of the NSW Government. The Community Hub project works in partnership with three local schools, offering programs for families at Windsor South, Windsor Park Public School and St Matthews Catholic School. Click here to view brochure Holiday Express Free activities for families with young children, held several days per year, during school holidays. Parents and carers are invited to come along and join in the games and fun, share some food and meet other families. Supported Playgroups Two regular supported playgroups, one at Windsor South Public School and one at Windsor Park. Playgroups are a great way to meet other parents and carers and share the joys and tips of parenting. Come along and learn some fun and cheap ideas to help your child develop through play activities. Windsor South Public School - Thursdays from 9:30 am - 11:30 am Windsor Park Public School - Mondays from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Transition to School Programs Hawkesbury Community Hub offers three transition to school programs in partnership with Windsor South, Windsor Park Public School and St Matthews Catholic School. These programs usually start in the third or fourth term. The program supports the preschooler and their parent/s in the transition to their new school environment, reducing the anxiety for both child and parent. This program is a great way to get to know the school routine and make new friends in your local school community. Please contact the Community Hub for further details. Parenting Programs A variety of programs are offered to families throughout the year, in partnership with TAFE, Community Health, Mission Australia and other local services. Current programs include first aid, reading support for your child, reading support for adults. Please let us know your interests so we can plan a program to suit your needs.
